Peloton recently launched a new cycling workout mode akin to gaming on the Peloton Bike and Bike+. Lanebreak motivates riders to earn points by changing cadence and resistance, synced with music and graphics.
The win for Peloton here is not the opportunity in gaming. The win is that they’ve earned the right to explore new ways to serve customers and potentially ride new growth curves. If Peloton can stabilize its business, adjacent opportunities in the connected fitness space are theirs to explore.
