  • Over the past month, we’ve discussed tech’s role in modern warfare — it’s a dynamic that continues to evolve. Most recently, Meta announced that they will allow expressions of violence toward the Russian invasion. This is notable as it is in contrast to the company’s policy which prohibits such language. The bottom line: these “set in stone” policies are actually variable.
  • China tech stocks have had a difficult time recently due to geopolitical headwinds but more so tension between Chinese and U.S. market regulators. As a point of reference, shares of DiDi are down nearly 40% today as the Chinese government appears to be blocking its listing in the U.S.
